Just to remind people that Andrew Neil’s ‘incredible sharpness’ was to realise that Owen Jones didn’t understand the difference between annual income and net worth. Neil had to point out to Jones that being worth a million didn’t mean you had an annual income of a million pounds. I know Jones is a journalist. However there is plenty of evidence from the likes of McDonnell and Abbott that his economic illiteracy is shared by the Corbynistas in the Labour Party.
